FD Script (File Download Script) is a free web based download manager script, completely written in PHP. This script makes the contents of any directory (along with its subdirectories) available for download. FD Script also logs the file downloads, using a flat-file database system. When using FD Script, files that are usually opened in browser (text files, documents, images, PDF), become available through the 'File Download' dialog. FD Script is easy to use and fully customizable, therefore the best option for your web site download section.

Basic requirements for FD Script consist of a webserver with PHP 4 (or later) support. In order to use FD Script, first, get the latest version from the download section. Then extract the contents of the archive to your web site (web server) download directory. Finally add a link to this directory in any page of your web site. FD Script supports full customization of both the contents and colors of the interface. Configure the script by changing the default values in the configuration file 'config.php' and the stylesheet 'syle.css'. You can activate/deactivate the log function from the configuration file 'config.php'.
